The Graves Brothers In The Studio

Tim and Tedd Graves were in the studio September 19, starting to work on the first Graves Brothers project. Tim states “Tedd and I have talked about doing a project together for a long time now but the timing hasn’t ever been right”. The two brothers have been able to work several dates together this year and have started booking shows for 2010 to support the new record. The recording will feature some old standards as well as new songs written by Tedd Graves. The expected release for the new project is set for early spring 2010.

New Nominations for Corey Brooks

Corey Brooks has been announced as a top 5 nominee for Music Evangelist of the Year for the 2009 ICM Awards. Corey is no stranger to the ICM stage. He has received multiple nominations from the Christian Country Music Association (Male Vocalist 2008) and took home the win in 2005 for Youth in Music and in 2006 for New Artist of the Year.

Corey gives all glory to God and is honored to even be considered for this category. "This means so much to me!" says Corey. "God has let me use my music as a way to reach people... I know that my calling isn't just to sing music, it's definitely a ministry. So, whatever platform He gives me I will use it to glorify Him. I want to thank all my fans and professional members that have chosen me for such a great honor."

C&LE welcomes Mechele Nichols to their family of artists. This will be her first recording since 2006. Plans are to start tracking in mid-October with an offical release date still to be determined.

For the past 11 years, Mechele has traveled the Southeast spreading the Gospel through song.
